About Kyle Orangio

Born in West Palm Beach, FL and raised in Boynton Beach, FL, Kyle has been involved in technology and innovation in one way or another for as long as he can remember – he was one of those kids that would toss out the directions to Legos, instead constructing his own creations, often more complex than what they were originally intended to be.

This desire to learn carried on onto the educational world, where, after a successful stint in grade school, he set his sights on conquering a degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee. Originally determined to be a mechanical engineer, that dream quickly faded once he realized what he gotten himself into. After a quick assessment of his situation, he decided to pursue his other passion – writing. Discovering a new major and seeing the potential in it, he made the transition to Editing, Writing, and Media, and once settled, never looked back.

He graduated in April 2011, and, after assessing the crappy job market, decided that the only way to land something he wanted was to move to the desired city, set down some roots and start networking. Boston soon became the answer, given its amazing history and embracing of all things startup, so upon locking in an apartment in June he made the drive just in time to settle in at the beginning of July.

Since then, it’s been quite the up and down, but he always finds a way to come out on top. Still actively looking for work but refusing to say no to such great opportunities as this one, living day by day has been the answer that keeps on working.
